A beautiful village with 2 pubs, a Bistro Café, Church and village shop. The main attraction is the fabulous horseshoe shaped beach. Ideal for all kinds of water sports, sitting relaxing, walking along the coastal path to nearby villages or exploring the many rock pools . The Harbour itself is the only West Facing Harbour on the East Coast. With a few remaining fishing boats and ancient Lime kilns it is definitely a place to enjoy. Bamburgh
Bamburgh is an adventure for all the family. You can enjoy a day at the beach building sandcastles, or even test yourself with a spot of surfing or fishing. If the weather isn’t optimal for this or you want something a little more historic, you can always visit Bamburgh Castle. Bamburgh has just been voted as one of the top 10 beaches in Europe!

Grace Darling Museum, Radcliffe Road, NE69 7AE

Farne Islands
Is a must to visit if you like the sea and wildlife. Take a boat trip from Seahouses Harbour for a couple of hours. The islands are home to thousands of grey seals, puffins and numerous sea birds. If you’re lucky you may also see Dolphins, now regular visitors to this part of the coastline.
Alnwick
Visiting Alnwick Castle and Gardens is a great way to spend your day, taking only 20 minutes from Beachcombers. Inside the castle you can explore the staterooms and exhibitions with an abundance of history. The Castle has also been the setting for many films, such as Robin Hood Prince of Thieves and of course Harry Potter!
The gardens are just stunning with an amazing cascading water feature and many feature gardens. There’s also a treehouse restaurant, which is one of the worlds largest! A great day out for all the family.
Seahouses
Just 2 miles from Beachcombers is Seahouses with a variety of shops, eateries and Harbour. This is where you can book a trip to the Farne Islands. There’s a Crazy Golf Course which is great fun or just spend time meandering along the seafront taking in the breathtaking views!
