Beadnell
A beautiful village with two glorious pubs, a Bistro Café, Church and village shop. The main attraction is the fabulous horseshoe shaped beach. Ideal for all kinds of water sports, sitting relaxing, walking along the coastal path to nearby villages or exploring the many rock pools.
The harbour itself is the only west facing harbour on the east coast. With a few remaining fishing boats and ancient lime kilns it is definitely a place to enjoy. All of this just a stone’s throw from Beachcombers!
Bamburgh
Best known for its castle, standing proud above the village. It’s a great day visiting the castle with all its history and views of the stunning beach, which has been voted in the top 10 in the world.
Farne Islands
Is a must to visit if you like the sea and wildlife.
Alnwick
Visiting Alnwick Castle and Gardens is a great way to spend your day, taking only 20 minutes from Beachcombers
Seahouses
Just 2 miles from Beachcombers is Seahouses with a variety of shops, eateries and Harbour

Just back from another great holiday at beachcombers. Lovely weather, brilliant accommodation and 2 minutes from the beach. Such a comfortable, warm clean and welcoming apartment thanks to Jayne. All amenities with good WiFi and tv. Our golden retriever Ruby loves the sea and the beach and relaxing on the lawn in front of the apartment. Already booked for next year. Thanks Jayne.
This is my 4th year staying in this fantastic apartment . Best location in Beadnell , friends have visited me for the day and also booked for various weeks , I’m now having to book well in advance to make sure I can get in ! (should have kept it a secret !) he apartment has everything you need , spotless clean , nice décor , location is the key , right in the sand dunes .
Jayne the hostess will help you with any problems , not that I have had any in the 4 years of staying here . Welcome fizz and flowers is the perfect touch on arrival . I can not recommend this apartment enough , but you will be lucky to get in as after the first visit you will be booking year after year just like me and my family . We have spent our last six summer holidays at the Beachcomers we choose it for its great location one minute form the beach and a great position to tour the area from.there was 4 of us this year there is plenty of room.there was no problems after the lock down all rooms where spotless clean hand sanatizer stations fitted booked again for next can’t wait
